SSL check: test a website’s certificate

Free SSL check: validity, issuer, expiry, certificate chain and TLS version of a website – with a clear explanation. No data is stored.

No data is stored. The seacube server opens one encrypted connection to the website entered and reads its public certificate; visitors’ data is not passed on.

Background

Why the certificate matters.

The SSL/TLS certificate provides the encrypted connection (https://) and confirms that the website really belongs to the domain. If it has expired, was issued for the wrong name or is installed incompletely, browsers show a warning – visitors leave, and forms and shops stop working reliably.

Certificate faulty?

seacube takes care of renewal, automatic extension and a clean setup on the server.
